I know it's for shenanigans, but that post credit scene would have been a great moment for Kein to ask the king and duke if he may ask them a frank question of political matters and foreign affairs.
Then, when they are both sitting down, ask how one would properly decline such advances from one of such a higher rank without stirring diplomatic affairs... For as it stands, those two girls can get him into a lot of trouble if he doesn't have the immunity to divert their advances.

in the last EP he is threated by a dominate wife of one his summons an now he really has to keep those girls happy

Pretty sure that is in a much later epsiode than Episode 3, so Spoilers... but I did finish the series so I get what you're saying.

However, by this point, the only thing stopping him has been the thought "I am of such a low rank that I cannot upset the king by denying these girls' requests." I see that it has been treated lightheartedly in this anime, but that is quite a dangerous premise... I mean imagine if a calamity-class event on par with Kein is about to attack the city and the girls insist on being by his side. He might save the world then be beheaded for treason.

I honestly am unsure if that plot can ever exist now: First he's a viscount with his own unruly territory to run, and secondly, the king kinda knows that he can't really control the boy. So at this point the only thing that can chain him down is his personality, and that can't be bought when it prevents him from protecting the ones he cares about.

Use trauma they just have to find it

The only trauma in this kid's life is his dead parents, and there's no way that this world could ever threaten that.

In the story the belly button is the place where the magical core is located. Chapter 1 was the one that introduced it I think.
